Mother Always Said You Should…
My Mom used to tell me repeatedly to do this and do that, not to do this and not to do that. ALL, I recall, very valuable advice. Looking back on it, I can say she was, and still is, a very wise woman.
Time reveals, in fact, just about every caring Mother is a Wise Woman. I can see why we carve out a special day each year to acknowledge Mothers. So here is a shout out to all Mom’s – Happy Mother’s Day!!
And not to be outdone, my Mother’s Birthday is May 10th which somehow seems to fall on or very close to Mother’s Day each year. So, she gets double the hugs and appropriate accolades every May from my Sister and me.
Unfortunately, My Mom’s Mom is no longer here. I am sure that makes her very sad this time of year. I am sure some reading this can relate and have similar stories. For ALL those whose Mom is no longer with us, may you remember the best about them. In addition to that, there are also many who never knew their Mom due to unfortunate circumstance. I bet someone played that roll in their life and they too deserve a Happy Mother’s Day!
Regardless, we can celebrate this Mother’s Day knowing Moms both here and no longer here are special in more ways than we can count.
Especially the Moms who are sitting in the Women's Shelter not far from where I type this…
You may recall my team and I are on a mission to raise $25,000 for Women’s Shelter Canada. We do that by donating a portion of our income from home sales to this very worthy cause.
Right now, there are women who fear for their lives and/or have lost hope in happiness due to years of physical, emotional, and mental abuse. Some are loving and caring mothers who are fighting to protect their kids and probably not thinking about their special day this month. They are simply being "Mom" and sacrificing everything for their children. God bless them for it. Thank you to all Moms!
This is where we need your help and how you can benefit at the same time…
Charitable contributions are tax deductible to a point. Rather than give your money to the government, you should consider making a donation to a charity. I believe it will somehow come back to you, well beyond a simple tax deduction. A core value at our company is “the size of the hole you give through is directly proportionate to the size of the hole you receive through.”
Either way, your referrals are in good hands and help us contribute to a good cause.
Life moves fast for some and we are eager to make the Home Selling and Buying experience a smooth rewarding one. Over the last decade of helping almost a thousand families sell their home and/or buy another, we have met some wonderful, loving, caring people. People like you! So your referrals, those you know considering a move, that we help – you can rest assured that not only will they get the award winning service we are known for, but that a solid portion of the income we receive from the transaction will go toward a very worthy cause.
Who do you know considering buying or selling a home you could refer to my real estate sales team?
Not only will they benefit from our award-winning service, you can rest assured we are also donating to a very worthy cause.

My Mom told me to give all I could, no matter what I was doing. Thanks Mom for that bit of advice! Many years later, I get to repeat it here and do all I can to help you, your referrals and try and help Women's Shelter do good work, extending women and children's lives.
Thank you in advance for the referrals.
P.S. I have enclosed an article that demonstrates how Interval House can greatly change someone’s life. From previous state of pain and abuse, this family were able to stand back up and live a normal life.
Interval House Changed our Lives
“I arrived at Interval House as a young boy in the early 1990’s. As a new, immigrant family, my mother, siblings and I were alone with very little support.
Interval House was fundamental to our family establishing a new life in Canada – essentially in starting over. Their offer of support was almost like being given a second chance and my family took that opportunity gladly.
I was too young at the time to have been impacted as greatly as my mother and older siblings had been by the abusiveness of our previous life. But consequently, they benefited the most from the counselling and support they received from Interval House.
That’s not to say I benefited any less. The support Interval House was able to offer my siblings translated into the support they were able to offer me – especially my mom, and the support she was able to offer all of us. It wasn’t easy to establish a new life after leaving Interval House.
Today, initiatives such as the BESS program give families the ability to become self-reliant. Interval House is able to provide a complete tool-kit to help families like mine establish their new lives.
Interval House definitely gave us the possibility to establish a new life and for that I am very grateful. Without the help of Interval House and its donors, our family’s future would not have been as bright as it is now.
One of my siblings is now finishing a PhD in medical school and I was able to complete my undergraduate degree in economics and finance. I am currently attending law school and expect to graduate in 2015.”
